Feedback on example UI

I’m working on creating my portfolio soon, i’d like to know what you guys think about this example UI. I was going for a cartoony look.

It would be nice if you guys could tell me if it’s good or not, what i can do to improve it, and what’s good about it. Thanks!

The “Go” seems hard to read and out of place, especially considering you used the same effect on the UI part underneath it.

The color scheme isn’t good and isn’t very complementary. The dark grey on dark blue is hard to read.

Personally I like them, the shadow in the ‘Go’ part is really nice. I would suggest changing the ‘STUFF ABOUT REBIRTHING’ to a lighter colour (white would work nicely) it’s just a bit hard to see. :+1: :roblox_light:

The box that says “Rebirth” seems a little low.

Other than that this looks like something you would see on a typical simulator game. Good job :+1:

This UI looks pretty decent! I recommend you play around with some different color schemes and fonts. The layout itself looks pretty nice. Make sure the 3D text effect you placed on your “Go” button is in line with the rest of text inside your UI to make it fit in. Other than that, excellent work. :+1:

The UI looks nice, but the “Stuff About Rebirthing” part looks darker than the other words. I say try to make the colors of the words more consistent with one another. Other than that, it looks pretty good.

The depth of shadow with the ‘GO!’ is too deep with no other features having a shadow. I would suggest making the depth of shadow shallow enough to where you can’t see the upper half of the bottom dot on the ‘!’.

the font is cute but the grey colour no, but the blue is really pretty

Thank you all! The gray text was just a placeholder but i’ll be sure to change it next time.

Hello, I think your UI design looks great however I would like to feedback on a few things. First, the frame does look a bit bulky. The way I would resolve that would be to make the frame slightly bigger and make the 3D effect underneath a bit thinner. I would also not use drop shadows on text as it could be hard to read if you implement it anywhere else. Good luck on future designs!
