Hello everyone!
I am working on a game and thought to make the icon. This is my first attempt to make a logo with fancy effects added on Photoshop.
Any critique is appreciated.

Looks cool! Did you use photoshop to make effects?
pretty nice, the effects are cool, text, lighting, however the “new” tag is a bit off place and looks diagonal, try putting it horizontally so it looks better. other than that its pretty good and solid
Yes! I used different brushes to add the effects.
It was done on purpose to make it look more attractive. Thank you for the feedback anyways!
I’m sure I’ve seen this before, are you in GFXComet’s discord server?
Yes! I am still there in the server got confused a bit.
I agree it would look much better with a horizontal tag.
Alright, I will change it, thank you!
I love the lightning effects you did what type of brushes did you use?
It looks very nice! But however, the text is too small. I suggest making it a bit bigger so whenever they see your game on the page, they would see it more clearly.
I made it small so the gfx is not covered, I will try to increase its size.
I used the star brush and lightning brush for this one.
Looks really nice. It’s a good icon for the simulator. I can see what the game is about. Great work!
Everyone loves Simulator gonna Attract on this GFX, But I’m Curios how much time did you work on that?
the effects are good and all but they are not 3d. the picaxe model just isn’t long enough or pixaxey enough, they character render has bland lighting and low resolution, but everything else stands out. dont show that much of characters legs, and make the text stand out.
Since I am very knew to Photoshop and haven’t watched any tutorial I will say the rendering took 1 hour and the effects took me 5 hours.
Thank you! I will keep it in mind for future renders & GFXs.
