Feedback on G-Man style stasis door

really awful suitcase model (literally 4 parts) inside a tool spawns the actual door, which opens to allow the player to step inside. once inside, it closes and deletes the player’s character and itself. scripted by me in a day.

This G-Man-style door looks great! Good job on it! It’s a very good recreation! How long did it take to create? What game will it be used in? I rate it 9/10! It’s a unique creation for Roblox!

Nitpick: the door opens horizontally, not vertically, but I suppose this is a matter of preference. Pretty spot on, opening/closing could be quicker to match the ending of HL2.

Also, you should probably add a SpotLight to the door that points outwards, as you can clearly tell the door illuminates the G-Man’s suit as he approaches it at 1:30.

What’s the point of this feature?

(Is it a tool used during the game’s storyline? Etc…)

made it for fun, probably wont be used outside of messing with people

will add spotlight to the door, as it does look kind of bland at the moment

after some feedback, i made some changes to the actual functions and visuals.
really cool awesome screenshot

the door now:
-creates light when opening, and turns off when closing
-doesn’t break tools when going inside
-more seamless entry (the effect that makes you visible applied as soon as you go into it)
-sounds synced with door

i would recommend making sure that there is a final heavy sound that triggers after the door opens completely.

also, you can use this to teleport to other places in the map. like you can pick where you wanna go from a menu

yeah i probably will make it so you can teleport elsewhere and it opens a door for you.
