Feedback on game GFX

I’ve made a GFX for my game, but I feel like I can do even better. My game as of now is a horror-theme based creation, so the dim lighting should be pretty obvious. This is what I’ve got:

As of now, I need more feedback!

I think it looks good, though I don’t know why the guy on the right is standing like that…

I’ll look forward to fixing that

Looks nice, but the background can be more detailed.

Try experimenting with rendering different backgrounds. It has nice lighting, but that is honestly the only thing that makes it engaging.

Your characters look pretty stiff, try some more dramatic poses that makes it look like they are really enjoying themselves so people think “I want to be like that!” Body language makes a differences!

Also, they’re all in the middle ground. Ever try putting one of them in the background, one in the middle ground, and another in the foreground?

Also, completely remove the text. It is too cartoony and vibrant to match and it really looks like a separate entity. Try using spookier fonts, and give them a rusted or metallic texture, or whatever else you think matches your theme. Make it blend in, as the text is supposed to complement the render, not take all the attention.

Hi there!

I think that the background definitely could be more detailed, judging from the sound of the game, maybe like a dark forest, or a hallway? Maybe even a creepy monster or something, idk
The players will always be attracted to more complex gfxs from my expierience.

I don’t know why the text is purple? It doesn’t really go with the theme.
You could also have a bright red light behind the characters, that could look cool.

With the posing, it’s pretty good, but I agree with what has been said before. Make it more dynamic, more interesting, like their running from something, or getting ready to attack. Maybe make their facial expressions more scared too.

I love the glitch effect on the text, I think some glitches for the actual characters could be quite pretty. You could also edit the gfx a bit more, and turn down the saturation, or tint it red to make it a bit more creepier.

Overall, you’ve done a pretty good job, I especially like the lighting! I hope my feedback was helpful to you

Well the thumbnail doesn’t really scream a horror theme more objects and props should spice up the theme, if you look at existing thumbnails you’ll see they feature objects things like blood or something that fits the horror feel.

The thumbnail doesn’t seem that interesting make it look like they’re walking down a creepy alley- add that to your thumbnail have people look afraid or scared the instead of them having a different pose structure.

Spice it up a bit include useful lighting source effects or creepy things laying on the surface, there’s always way to spice up a thumbnail you could even use reference image to help you. Why not place other characters that look like they’re scared out of their life make the scene stand out it’s a horror theme after all.

Add things like flickering lights on the building walls in the corners or above the characters shining on the ground creating shadows. Otherwise, it’s here and there it just needs a little tweaking.

Hello there,
My name is Clap, and here to give you a feedback for your Game GFX.
Today, the GFX is a really good to fit with your horror game; but, do you think they’re gears are like bigger or smaller?
Also, I get confused in the Boy, that have a rabbit hat. Is he like, holding the flashlight? Because it’s near in his torso.

I suggest you add something in the background to make the image stand out more. But apart from that, nice job!
