Hello, I’m currently working on an SCP Site game called SCP : Project [REDACTED], and made a logo for my game. I know It looks a bit basic, but I’m looking for things to improve on it. Please give feedback on what I could add to it. Here’s how the thumbnail looks:

Good, but the font feels off and the brackets seems like squeezed

It a good icon but its a bit hard to read the text because of the white in the background

I like it but I feel the brackets need to be a bit wider, there a bit hard to see. Great job though!

I can see rooms for lots of improvements for this game icon.
What I would do is tracing the SCP logo and give it a little spice, like applying shading or simply some textures that shows aging. Thus, adding some elements to the background so it doesn’t look too boring, and also making the text “Project Redacted” more eye-catching to grab the attentions from players.
Personally, I don’t really like minimalistic designs (that’s why sometimes my designs just looks like a mess of gradient and overlays). However, if this game icon suits your style more than what I suggested then go for it! More people might prefer your style rather than mine!
