Hello everyone! I created some game thumbnails and I was wondering what you guys thought…
Eh, they’re just okay. I don’t feel like they fit the theme you’re shooting for, though.
There are a few things I would fix, if it were me. First of all, the render. I assume you’re using Blender. What I recommend doing is redoing that exact same render with the same exact lighting but position your camera more outward so that you get most, if not, all of the actual body.
Once you’ve done this, you can place the render in Photoshop (or whatever software you’re using) and make it look like there aren’t any cut-offs. The cut-off on the PNG right now is incredibly bothering and this would fix the issue
Following that, I recommend getting an image of a restaurant kitchen off of Google. Put it under the layer of your render in Photoshop (or whatever software you’re using), select the layer, and apply a gaussian blur filter, just slightly.
Then, position the render to the left of the image and add a new text layer and make it white and give it a sharp-looking font. Put that to the right of the render, and you should be good. I can envision almost exactly what this would look like and I think it would fit perfectly for not only the render you’re working with, but with the style you seem to be going for as well
To add some spice to the image, you could a white YouTube and/or Twitter logo in the bottom right of the image
Anyway, I apologize for overloading you with information. I hope this helped!
