1: 7.5
2: Work better with the lighting, the GFX usually looks better when the character doesn’t have shadows no it’s face.
3: Maybe make center the head of the character on the middle.
It’s looking good though!
I like it, I would say use a Roblox rig to bend the limbs better as you can see the arch of the arm which isn’t really natural. The arm is also within the torso which is weird. I also think you should work on lighting to make your graphics better. The logo shadow throws the streak off for the logo. But it is good. I would suggest more work on the background too, but that’s it.
Other than that, I really like it.
6.5 would be a good rating for this. In my opinion.
I think you have a pretty good start (I think the background is a nice touch!), but here are a few suggestions:
As others have stated, the limbs look a bit unnatural and could use some touching up.
The shading doesn’t seem to line up properly in all places (i.e. the line on the avatar’s left arm, dark face/torso, etc.). You could either manually fix this in paint.net via color-correction, or add more lighting around the avatar prior to making it into a GFX design.
Although this isn’t a huge issue, if you find the time I would look into perhaps touching up the logo located at the top of the screen, maybe add in a bit of color?
Also, asking for a scaled rating is against the rules now, so I’d suggest editing that out of your post to avoid moderation! Overall, good start though! Hope this helps.
I used Blender to make it…
Uhhhh… I don’t think I will wave like that but I believe this is your like first time doing GFX right?
No but I made this GFX using my laptop, and I didn’t have a mouse. That is why it is not good at all.
Ah, make sense. Still I won’t be waving like that
Like the overall design, but a few key points you could improve on.
Hope this helps.
No I have a mouse lol. I just was on vacation and only had my laptop, and no mouse.
Since rating is against the rule of DevForum, I will give feedbacks instead of numbers.
It is really not professional for actual devs to make this, the lighting is really bad and the shadow makes thing worse, I definitely recommend you to use rim light and cycles render, it is really bad when you still use blender render, and try to make your own background, because it’s very weird to get an image from google and just put it as yours.
The text, solid no. It is so bold and blank, the fonts does not match the whole GFX.
Okay I added a new one. Is it better?
Oh, well it looks like one of those poses on a game.
Overall I prefer 1:
The reason I chose 1 over 2 is because 2 has a few lighting issues that I don’t find attractive and also the limbs are quite straight and unnatural. I suggest importing into blender and giving a go arbitrary bending limbs in there, and if you can use blender’s evee engine to render it as it creates beautiful lighting of you know how to use it. Many tutorials can be found online.
Speaking about the logos, both are very nice I do prefer number 1 again as it has a higher colour spectrum than the 2nd one. I find the 2nd one quite boring and doesn’t get my attention as much as the first one.
Overall I’m loving your work keep it up, the more attempts and feedback you receive the more you improve.
