Feedback on GFX

Hello! My name is sixwoods and I recently got into GFX. I’m currently a designer on roblox and I do some graphics outside of the platform so I have some experience with editing however I’m new to rendering and 3D modeling. I used a program called blender and followed some tutorials on youtube. Any feedback, tips, or tricks would be really nice. Also if anybody has a good tutorial let me know.

I’m looking to get better at bending limbs and I want to get better lighting. I feel like everything looks off but thus being said I still had fun making it. I tried looking at some tutorials on youtube but couldn’t find anything suitable to my liking. I feel like it wasn’t bright enough and it came a little purplish which i didn’t know how to fix as well as an outline thingy I wasn’t a fan of.

Here is the graphic I made along with the render.

I like the GFX. I suggest you take off the b&w filter, it looks better with colour.

Not sure why that’s not connected to the torso, there also needs to be some improvement in lighting.

Well the Angle of the camera is very Important i’m sure the torso is connected He would use a better camera Angle But It’s Good For The First time

Nice try for your first attempt on making a GFX! To make it even better, give the character some poses. And as mentioned before, the legs are kinda out of place, you might wanna fix that!

I like the GFX. The character seems a bit still though.

Maybe you could change the pose to make it seem more alive?

Thank you going to take that into consideration.

Do you think a front angle would be more suitable?

Mhm I think I’m going to try making it so that the character is walking.

Ya I agree I only did it cause I wasn’t a fan of the lighting. I do think it’ll look better with color definitely going to try that with my next attempt!

Yes But Not Exactly if you turn it a little bit left or right it’s going to be awesome!

Nice render. But maybe the lighting could use some work and the legs should be partially attached to the torso. Not bad though!

Looks awesome! I really like how the character pops out. Some tips I could give you are downloading many fonts that you like and be as creative as you can with lettering. I speak for myself when I say this and it’s very minor but I’ve seen that font very often, and if you’ve seen someone else use it or if it looks familiar with other pictures, it can take away from the creativity and new ideas being put out in your work.

I also challenge you to make a notable difference from your render to your finished product. Adobe Lightroom is a great but pricey photo editing software, but using any you’re comfortable with, play with shading and coloring for an awesome effect that will have your audience wondering how you achieved the look.

There are going to be numerous of tutorials in programs you use that you feel won’t relate to you or your work, but still try to watch them if you can, when you’re eating lunch or before going to sleep. You’d be surprised by how many times you pick up a new skill you could end up using every day at times you weren’t even trying to learn anything. This also goes for going into your editing program with nothing in mind and trying out some tools.

Good luck on your future projects!
