Recently, I’ve completed a group logo with help from my friend.
I did the icon, he did the background and added effects.
How did we do?

This looks very good. I like the blurred background, it’s awesome! No bad things to report from me. You could make the white bit in the middle of the 
logo, transparent, so it has the background. Otherwise, it’s very nice!

I recommend adding a starburst effect or gradient, but its really good!

If you want to go crazy, make it glowy/neony, may make it spice up. But if you’re going for a clean look, go simple.
However, I can’t really tell what the group is about? Logos are meant to convey info to us on what the product, group, project, and etc is about. Its the front-piece of information everybody sees first hand. Its the grabber of grabbers and attentionseekers of-
Basically, give it a message (not literally tho lol)
