Helllo developers!
Can I get some feedback on my GUI? What more should I add?
Hello, the initial idea of the gui is nice, I recommend making everything more modern starting from the colors that are too contrasting with each other, maybe the background is made of another color or in another way. I also recommend doing the gui animations and filling the space in the middle of the shop.
The idea on paper sounds nice, but there are a few problems with the current design:
Images are unaligned (here’s an instantly noticeable part):
The ‘guns’ and ‘money’ section are asymmetrical in size and positioning:
‘Guns’ and ‘Shop’ are primary colors (blue and red) while ‘Money’ is lime; I’d recommend changing money to yellow so it has a more defined theme.
The titles are contrasting with the main frame; Try making the frame gray or white.
Try and use scrolling frames with a grid layout to make the image buttons more symmetrical!
The colours don’t match, I think black is a bit too harsh for a GUI. Try to play on lighter colours, such as white.
I get what you’re doing, but try and make these distances the same, and the Guns and Money labels to be the same size!
Good job!!
The actual text of the top buttons(SHOP, etc) contrast a lot to the color of the button itself. Don’t know what style your going for, but i migh recommend making it a more similar color to its button background. However, you did a good job! All other problems have been stated.
Hey there, something I would recommend for you to modify in your GUI is measuring the size and positions of the Category buttons, so they are the same and not asymmetrical. You could also make it so when one of the categories is showing at the front, the button that it is assigned to increments its size with the TweenService, so the player knows exactly where they are. I could also recommend you use the “Back” easing style, seeing that you’re trying to make a cartoony-styled shop popup. You could also adjust the buttons ZIndex so it goes along with the size adjustment. My final recommendation is that you could tweak the colors saturation a little bit, so they aren’t that hard to look at for some users. Thank you and keep up the good work!
