Feedback on haunted house

I recently started modelling because I am a scripter but want to have a balanced skill set so I want to be a decent builder as well. This is the third blender model I’ve made and I’d like feedback on how it looks and how to improve (It took to hours)

Yooo! this looks sick.

Personally i would try add some small silhouettes in some of the windows, might give it more detail if that makes sense

GG though! :+1:

I think it look’s nice, but i think you can add webs, cracked windows and i think the windows on the top look a little to repetitive, and should instead have the design from the bottom as it looks more unique
(though this is just my opinion)

I know like 5 of my friends told me that lol I was gonna do it but I ran out of time

Ok so do you know how to fix this?

also I cant seem to turn the principalBSDF node into a texture

Yeah please do

Hey, dont be so hard on yourself. I know multiple people that wouldn’t even know where to start when creating something like. Good work, have you got any other models that you’ve been working on at all?

For the scale that you were going for, this is GREAT, but haunted houses tend to be bigger, and your house doesn’t reach far back enough.

I’ve looked up haunted houses, and they tend to have orange light radiating from them, because orange and blue are contrasting colors. Because there are less orange than blue, the orange brings the viewer’s attention.

The cyan in the windows does bring attention with contrast on light and detail. Credits to that
Houses like this one tend to look good on all sides, so maybe windows on the roof sides would help.

Keep building and have fun!

I love the aesthetic of this build, It’s very spoopy and the blue makes the build very unique as most people tend to use purple or orange for the lighting of haunted houses. In terms of suggestions I’d personally widen the base of the structure, regardless it still looks great, and it’s even more impressive considering that this is only your 3rd build.

Keep up the great work my friend!

Hi, Thank you  also I’ve not got any other models I’m working on because I’m addicted to a game called assassin lol I will start working on way more stuff soon tho and I’ll try to post about all of them and I’m guessing u don’t develop anything? I couldn’t find anything about you. If you do make stuff, I’d like to see your work! Thanks for the kindness as well and sorry for the rlly late response lol

That looks like a nice haunted house! Good for a low-poly structure in a game where there’s lots of assets being utilised. :slightly_smiling_face:
