Feedback On Homestore?

Me And My Head Designer recently started a clothing group and made a homestore, I was wondering how does the first shop look so far?

Any feedback would help!

Hello MuKuEu,
Here’s some feedback to help improve the store.

Spawn

I am assuming you plan on making an outlet of some sort here, but:

  • It is empty and dimensionless

  • Textures are overused, some are clipping and the colors are dull.

  • I was able to walk out the spawn area.

The homestore Itself

  • Flat and dimensionless.
There isn’t any life to it, nothing that pops out or makes it interesting.
The structure as well isn’t intriguing just 4 walls with an overused texture.

  • That wallpaper texture should be used much much less. It’ll look much better if its used more as an accent.

  • The parts does not line up with the ground ( saying this because I saw you have a copy of the homes tore and it doesn’t seem like it was positioned properly.)
Along with that, the walls aren’t even aligned

  • There’s an invisible wall blocking the entrance towards the left.

Interior
  • Feels cluttered and rushed.

  • The sand carpets are unanchored

  • The lighting is obstructive and not well done

  • All textures here isn’t well placed or even necessary.

Suggested Fixes
  • Get rid of that spawn/ overhaul it if you want the homes tore to be an outlet. You can have it on a street for an example, or in a grassy area, or any other setting. If your focus is just the homes tore you have, center the setting around that. You can have it on the moon if you want, it just seems lifeless atm.

  • Get rid of all the useless textures and experiment on how to properly incorporate textures in your builds opposed to just putting them there assuming it’ll blend together. Use some of the default textures, work with colors and blending it with your ideal build.

  • The homestore itself can use an overhaul, getting rid of the wallpaper texture, adding more breathing room, getting rid of all the lights and even experimenting with the lighting. Learning how to add depth to your build will help so much, because it just looks lifeless. You can also probably take out those decals of the players, and have a window showcase with those models.

  • The decals as well can use some work, the text is in lower quality and at times doesn’t fit the frame ( or the frame isn’t structured properly)

Much luck, I hope this will help you all out.
