A few years ago, I made a game called Multimatter Nightmare. I shortly gave up on it, but I recnetly picked it up again and decided to remaster it.
I am currently working on the intro of the game again, and I am trying to make a good experience for the player of the introduction. I desire feedback to figure out which parts of the introduction are lacking. Perhaps it’s the animation, the dialogue, or the sound effects, etc.
Here is a video of the intro to the game:
Thanks!

Another thing, the intro heavily relies on the player using a graphics quality of 5 or higher, and the lighting looks really bad without it.
I was wondering what I could use to make it look better for players who use a graphics quality lower than 5.

Would the atmosphere fog work somehow here?

The part where the guy slams his head on the table, I would’ve made it like this:
- Move the camera so that it shows the player’s face, the player is slouched over on their chair.
- The player slams their head on the table in the middle of the line “After writing all but 3 lines, the fool succumbed to his drowsiness.”
- I would do said action preferably with an anticipation frame, an exponent tween for when the player is moving their head down to the table, and then a frame where the player moves a little after the impact.
- The whole thing fades out as the camera is still on the player, who is moving slightly due to snoring. Said snoring could be done with 2 cubic out tweens from one snore position to the other.
