Here I’m showcasing the improved version of the UI and the item mechanics for an RPG game which I’m currently working on.
I’ve polished few aesthetic details of the UI in terms of visuals, animations and sound. Where I also added a informative item stats system which explains the source of each stat.
The item managing, inventory and bank system are also shown in quite detail.
I’m thinking about also adding a similar section with the Character section for Appearance for the equipped items where you can re-texture or paint them. I believe a similar layout would be more coherent.
Apart from those, I really wondered about yours opinion before I move out furtherly doing the rest of the parts.
It’s not my personal style, (Don’t take my opinion seriously) but it looks really cool especially the drag and drop,
All I would say is to keep it simple as possible as you don’t want the users screen to be cluttered with too much, to the point you cannot see the game.
Also, maybe include the option of themes such as: white, blue, pink etc
From looking at the video again the central Gui could be moved to under the inventory and could be a lot smaller
I total agree with you I had my volume of, but you could add a setting area for the different themes and a sound bar to enable or disable background music, Ui sounds and other stuff.
