So basically, I had been working on this game called Ultimate Race. Its game where you race other players while parkouring trough randomly generated map. Only one player win, and there’s only one checkpoint.
I would like to know what do you think about this level/map design
It’s very linear, that’s not a bad thing though. Linear level design is used to force the player to move forward which I guess is a good thing here because it is a race. Also, it doesn’t appear to be too challenging. The end just seems like a strait line, point A to point B. This isn’t very appealing in my opinion, but it is the norm in obby games on Roblox.
People usually don’t compliment the level design of things because you don’t notice it when it is done right. You only really notice level design when it is bad.
It’s decent for what you’re doing, but try not to be annoying with the signs. People race here, they can’t stop to read what you’ve written so don’t distract them. It’s fine if that is a tutorial though because tutorials aren’t supposed to be competitive
I would recommend sticking with the same build style. For example, the planks on the bridge in the lobby seem to be more rounded, whereas the pillars and portal outline at the end of the obby are more blocky and low-poly. Additionally, the tree trunks look more bulky and unrealistic, whereas the leaves are fairly realistic.

Like @Reditect said I think it would be cool if it like curved or something. But other than that I think this is a really cool concept! Keep it up and I think this become a really good game!
