Feedback on Little Cafe

In a style I don’t know what to call it :stuck_out_tongue: But here it is any feedback, besides the come in sign from google images. Made it quickly after my last build. The red building is not attached to the cafe.

I’d say you have the style, size, and color scheme nailed beautifully! I can feel the warmth and scent of roasted coffee beans radiating just by looking at it! I would recommend adding something to the side of the building since its a street corner shop, but other than that awesome job!

Super good! Just a couple notes.

  • Not sure what your rendering level is right now, but if the pieces in the windows aren’t already neon, I’d make them neon.
  • Additionally, I think having the lower part of the wall completely white is a little jarring when contrasted with the wall that is completely yellow and the fact that there are large bricks in the walls (essentially, what I’m trying to get at is that it feels like there are contradicting styles and level of detail). That’s not to say that it couldn’t work, but I’d probably add more bricks in smaller sizes to improve the detail consistency.
  • I agree with @copuni’s statement about the left-facing wall looking somewhat empty. IMO, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to simply replicate the window style on the right-facing side, but you may have a better solution. :slight_smile:
  • I’d make the logo more apparent. This is more of a personal taste thing, and it seems like you’ve made it the way it is intentionally, but I just wanted to throw it out there.
  • Finally, if I’m correct in the assumption that the things on the roof are fans, most buildings tend to have them either facing upwards while lying on the roof (horizontal rather than vertical) or vertical with attached vents. Just a little detail that brings in some more realism, if you haven’t done it already (hard to tell from screenshot)

Hope that helps! The build looks really great though. I’m excited to see if there ends up being a whole block of buildings in the near future. :stuck_out_tongue:

Looks very good with nice vibrant colours! I like the detail you’ve put into everything. One tiny thing though, the accent on the E is the wrong way round. Also, like the others said, I would recommend adding the same window on the left wall as that is what you’d typically see on a street corner café.

Your “Little Cafe” looks really good, like all the different, details you added to the building as well the color scheme you have. Implemented onto the building looks very decent! I think you have done a incredible job on your, cafe the size is really good it looks like a. Street corner cafe people will go to great job on your “Street Cafe” overall. You could add some details on the outside part!!

Cafe

The cafe is really decent, however you could add some colors on the front. Wall instead of having it completely white as you can, see you have the side frame the same color as the walls, you could try adding some other colors. By the front entrance area or implement, the (Yellow Color) onto the front walls just to look! More better overall it still looks nice with the white color. That’s on the walls i would just add a awning, windows, on the other side of the. Building as most street corner cafes have that try! Adding that so the side of the building won’t be empty if you plan, on adding more buildings to it. I would recommend you do that!!

Details
I like the style your going for and i think it looks really good, as most “Street Corner Cafe’s” has details on, the outside part and underneath the awning. So customers can sit and enjoy there coffee, drinks, food, ect. If you plan on adding details in the front of the, cafe i would recommend you add some here is a couple, of things i’ll add so your corner cafe could! Look more better and improved a lot more like. I said above you’ve done a amazing job on it.

Decorations

  • Potted Plants, Hanging Plants
  • Chair, Tables Cafe Sign
  • Umbrellas, Trash Cans
  • Potted Trees, Bike Racks Bollards

Overall, you have done a amazing job on your cafe can’t wait to. See more from you very soon as well the improves you make! To the cafe great job on it the details i listed above you, could add those on the sidewalk part if you plan on adding. Different buildings and other details those is what you, could add to your cafe!!

The style your going for, is called a “Corner Cafe” (Correct me if i’m wrong) which has other buildings next to it. Which is located in Brighton St as your cafe looks the same! As the real life ones just your cafe, doesn’t have another floor implemented on it.

Love the exterior of the cafe and the combination of colors you chose. If possible I’d like to see the interior also.

The cafe looks great, although the door looks a little weird.

Maybe bring down the neon part and perhaps make upper part proportional;

to the bottom;

Looks great, I like it. You could possibly use a softer red for the building next to it. Trying pastel colors would work too.

As the many people have said, add something to the left side of the building because this appears to be on a corner, so you can’t just leave the wall completely empty.

Also, I’d recommend changing the color of the text a bit or doing something (outlining, etc?) to make it more visible, I’m not sure if it’s just the picture but with the picture it is hard to see there’s anything there at all. Otherwise everything else looks pretty good.

It looks great!

The only thing I can think of adding is maybe a ladder to the roof( could be located in an alleyway behind the building or something) and a street light. Maybe a bin or chair on the path too?

Anyways hope those helped a bit.
