Feedback on Loading screen + HUD display!

Hello,

I’ve recently made a custom loading screen and a HUD display. I’ve spent a couple of days on them and I’m pretty happy with how they have turned out. I’m curious what other people think of them

Heres clips / images of them:

*the default imagelabel changes once the player loads in, so its not shown in the picture.

Id love to hear what you think!

The idea of the tweening loading screen is rather nice actually, but I don’t feel like it’s the MOST ideal transition. I feel like a fade in/fade out effect would look much smoother. You could also play around with the speeds of the tween and see what works best because I feel like it’s really slow.

The HUD looks clean and it sticks to one theme only which some people cannot seem to do. I’m not really a fan of the border on the scrolling frame in the Settings layout, but it doesn’t seem that big of a problem as it does stick with the theme.

Other than those preferences of mine, I really like it  I can definitely see a front page game with this layout.

Thanks! I’m still trying to find an ideal solution for the settings options as I agree, the borders are a bit wierd. Not sure what else to do though but I guess it’ll come as I keep experimenting with it.

Keep me updated!! I would love to see what ideas you have

Sure thing! I’ll either update this post or make a new one if it’s something completely different.

The HUD might be hard to reach for mobile players. Maybe tween the settings dialog?

I do think it can be a bit small for mobile, but im not even sure if the game im planning on making will be mobile compatible at all. For now though ill test around with size on mobile screens.

I can see you’ve put a fair bit of effort into this, nice work!
I feel like the transition between pictures of the map looks a little weird. I think it’s either the easing style that’s being used or the speed of the animation.

I agree the easing direction and possibly style is a bit wierd. It’s currently InOut which makes it slower at the beginning so I think that’s why.
