Feedback on logo

Hi there ! I designed this logo a few days ago:

(It was inspired by ColourShed Productions)

What do you guys think ? How could I improve this logo ? Any feedback would be appreciated!

It’s fine, but I think there are certainly some ways to spice it up.

1-Gradient

Right now everything is just a solid colour, while the ColourShed reference you talked about is gradient based. I know you don’t want to copy the reference, but having that sort of gradient fill is more visually appealing than if it was just several solid colours next to each other (second picture).

For that reason I think it would be best if you added a similar gradient fill to the colours in your logo, albeit not the same kind of thing so you’re not just straight up copying the design. This is done by duplicating the logo, darkening and lowering the saturation of the layer on the bottom, then erasing the bottom of each letter in the layer on the top with a soft brush.

Below is an example of what I mean.

2-Blue

This one is pretty straightforward; I think the dark blue is fairly hard to read, so it would be better to change it to more of a cyan. See image below.

3-Sheen

If you really wanted to add some spice, you could add a light sheen over the top half of each letter by overlaying a transparent white ellipse over the letters, like so:

I personally don’t like it, but I see a lot of designers doing it with text logos so I figure you may as well know about the option.

Hope this helps!

I do agree with RipperGFX, I think maybe adding a gradient will make it look a bit better. I do like the concept of this logo, but im not sure if im a true fan of it. I dont know what program your using to make this but i would try messing around with different settings and tools… try and change it up a little bit

This literally HURTS to look at. I swear I thought this was a joke at first

how to fix:

  • Get rid of all these ugly colors. They don’t work together AT ALL
  • pick a color scheme. find one on google images or generate one on something like https://coolors.co/
  • Don’t use the very rounded wifi thing with the pixel text. Go for one style.
  • Go learn design theory. YT tutorials/sites/whatever. Please. And best of luck!

The usage of color in this logo makes it kinda difficult to read right away. I’d suggest going for a more consistent design(color theory) or blending the colors into a gradient like the colourshed logo as mentioned earlier.

I agree with Ripper.

My feedback on it would be to stick on one color because legit making my eyes hurt. I would also make it bold or change the color of the word that you want to highlight.

Keep up the good work

I redesigned the logo based on some feedback, what do you guys think of the new one ?

The white is washing out too much of the color, also why not look into trying out a flare for the icon or beacon designs. Personally if you did it as a lighthouse tower that would be cool.

A lighthouse sounds like a great idea !

Just a few things that I noticed is your colors don’t follow a pattern. It would be much easier if you had all the same colors in a pattern. For example, in the word colour, it goes red, yellow, green, blue, purple, yellow. But in the word Point, it goes Red, green, purple, blue, yellow. I suggest making them all follow one certain pattern.

To add, you could also make the gradient on the letters clearer and the symbol with the rainbow colors is not symmetrical, which bothers me a little. Also if it is possible maybe you could take out the word Productions since it is so long. You can also rearrange the letters. An example of what I mean is here below.

I redesigned the logo. For me there’s something wrong with the gradient. Be creative. What do you think about this one?

I didn’t ask for someone to make a logo, but besides that it looks really good !

Thx, ik but i gave you an example that minimalism is sometimes better than multiple-color gradient ;d
