I mean something like the text being on top of something that makes it stand out and maybe make one word one colour and the other colour another
Alright I was planning to have it two different color like blue and white but any recommendations?
Blue and white I would say would work fine

Firstly reduce the blur so people can see what you’re showing in the background. Then for the icon, make the text 2 or 3 lines and bigger so it is more visible on smaller screens.

I think you could make the color for the text a bit different, to make it stand out more.
Also, I think you should make the background a little less blurry.
Besides that, I really like this! 
It’s ok but it’s a little plain. I would add bigger and more colorful letters. I would also add some avatars with r15 rigs to make it feel more alive.

Looking better, also try centering sword and royale, for some reason sword just looks off to me, maybe move it to the right a bit. Maybe just my ocd kicking in.

With the new background I think the level of blur works fine, although in the thumbnail I think you could add something that tells the players something that’s happened such as: new items or just something that you’ve added
