It is helpful, but can’t use it in Roblox Studio. Why is it here if there is no way to use it?

Thanks for reaching out! It looks like this API is not yet available, but keep an eye out for an announcement re: Material Variant Alpha Mode in the next few weeks.
In general, some APIs may be documented before they are live. This is preferable over being late or never being documented at all, but I’ll work the team to see if we can signify these types of releases better.
