Hey guys, i would like to get some feedback on my first attempt in modelling an animal, i would really like to get better at modeling animals and other stuff such as guns, swords etc…
So any feedback would be highly appreciated, by the way, it took me around 4 to 6 hours to make this… I hope i am in the right path to get better at modeling.
Thanks
This is a goat right?
The tail could be a little bigger and the front legs could be more round like the back ones.
Not sure if the back legs of a goat look like this;
(Disregard that since you’re also using Gazelle as a reference)
I might just be ignorant though.
Overall it’s a pretty nice low-poly animal.
Also giving more detail and shape to the head would make it look better;
Thanks for the feedback, i really don’t know if it was supposed to be a goat or a gazelle, but i tried to make something on my own without taking in count a lot of references, you know, just like my own style. And yes, adding details into the head would for sure make it better.
Thanks once again
IMO it looks more like a deer or gazelle. I think it looks very great especially for your first attempt at modeling an animal, but the back of the whatever it is looks a little too round.
Thanks for the feedback, and i didn’t have any ideas for making a back so i just made it round, thanks for pointing that out, it’s gonna help a lot in modeling future animals.
At first I thought it was a deer, until I looked at the antlers. All of the deer I looked up have bent back legs. Anyway, good job I really like it!
It’s more like a gazelle than a deer or goat tbh. For suggestions, I think the back-end could be less round, the ears could be a bit larger, and the tail adjusted (maybe made more wide).
Thank you so much, once again i didn’t even know what i was making, deer, goat, or a gazelle, just wanted to model an animal with an overall good looking, but thanks for letting me know, i might work on a deer real soon
Thanks for the feedback, it means a lot
It’s great, just make the tail bigger.
you’re doing well:grinning:
Thanks for the feedback, it means a lot.
Thanks, i appreciate that
It’s really cool! Keep continuing with this great work!
Thank you so much, it means a lot
