Feedback on my #2 speed art?

Hello! Can I get some feedback on my second ever roblox speed art? Thanks!

Speed Art

EDIT: Do you think I’ve improved since my first speed art?

To be honest, it’s a great start. For your second speed art, this looks good. You have definitely improved from your first art, but I would recommend using a better program for the art. Some of the objects look a bit messy. Such as:

messy101

messy102

messy%20103

Using something like Inkscape (free) or Photoshop, (which are both not available on mobile) will let you clean some of those things up. Now, these are not mistakes, but most people might not want those elements in your image (if your doing some art work for someone else creating a game). I hope this helps you improve! I think you have a good start (especially since you said you were using a mobile drawing app).

Good luck!

You have potential. Why don’t you move away from “speed art” and attempt a more serious drawing?
Art is not about how fast you can do it, it’s about the outcome at the end. If you really put your mind to it, you could come up with some impressive stuff, who knows?

It is a huge improvement from last time’s. Things look solid, and there is not nearly as much negative space. The eye can rove over the image easily, and fluidly.

Some suggestions:
Do not be afraid of the edge. Never be afraid of having your subjects go past the edge a little. With the fire, the “flames” seem to be hesitant to meet each other and very scared to go past the sides. Go full hog! Let the fire go wild and let it whip past the limits of your canvas and intermingle with each other and your avatars. It will give your drawing a more realistic feel, instead of having all your subjects scrunched together in the same space. It will also be a lot faster to draw!

If you want to get seriously into art, for God’s sake get a better program that can cater to your needs. That program can only go so far.
Instead of using the “fill in” tool, why not attempt colouring it like you would a traditional piece? It will give greater depth, and more detail.
Use layers. With the avatar in a green shirt, I see you have trouble colouring it without the colours interfering with the outline. With layers, you can much easily, and quickly, colour objects without the different elements mixing together when you don’t want them to. Also, using different layers means you don’t need to use the fill in tool to colour in objects without going over the outline.
Concentrate on your linework. It appears as if you’re using a mouse, which can be a complete nightmare, especially for beginners. Even with a stablizer, you will not obtain the quick, neat lines that I know you’re wanting. Get a drawing tablet, mine personally cost me 35 dollars. A quick google search will find you what you’re looking for.

With all that said, great job and please keep it up. I’m looking forwards to more of your work.
