Feedback on my best UI asset

Introduction

I recently made this UI and am wondering what you guys think about it. I used Photoshop to make it. Many UI artist’s don’t do this style because it is really hard to make and mainly popular in the mobile market.

This looks good how much time you work on it?

It took me about 30 mins and this is why most UI designers don’t do this style unless they get like 80k.

It’s a nice button, but it might be super ambitious to claim a pack of these is potentially worth 80k,
it’s just basic shapes, but i do have to say the colors are well done.

Video is in x4 Speed (which is around 6 minutes to do the icon for a experienced creator)
so maybe overall 10 Minutes if we include the concept (idea) aswell.

As you can see in my version, it’s merely setting up zones and fill them up,
these kind of thing, atleast in the real market, have barely any worth whatsoever.

This is really nice work, but you could also get license-free shaded images and overlay your own icons to shorten development period. Either way, awesome job and keep up the great work! :octopus:

I love the colours, and the shading you used it looks super clean although I feel like you now have a fantastic base and you should add to it.

Wow! This is very high quality, if I could suggest one thing it would be to light up the browns because it’s really dark

What program did you use to make that?

Animate CC, which is quite similar to Photoshop or Illustrator since they’re all under Adobe

Adobe Photoshop is what I used to make it.

not bad for 45 minute but is it funny making art ?

I would have to disagree, these types of things are widely used in the mobile market. I did talk to a UI artist and they did stay that it would be about 80k max for someone to make full game UI in this style.

I absolutely love it! It is very very clean and unique! shading is perfect!! Keep up the good work! :hidere:

Pretty good and it’s fine in quality. I can’t make these kind of UI even though I am a professional UI designer.

If you find yourself spending a lot of time on this, you should practice more before you start your career otherwise it will take forever to finish a commission.

Also, “many UI artist’s don’t do this style because it is really hard to make and mainly popular in the mobile market” is not really true. There’s a lot of UI designers/artists making UI with this kind of design , pss, who would use full material design on a simulator. All it takes is effort.

Anyway, good luck with your UI!!
