Feedback on my dungeon crawler type game

I have been working dungeon crawler type game and I was thinking of advertising it but I want to know what other players think first.

I have been working on the game for a while and I finally deiced that I want to start advertising it.
The game is a dungeon crawler type of thing and I am not trying to copy Dungeon quest.
So far I have made it all on my own apart from some help from tutorials.

The lobby seems really bright with the blue but the first arena seems very cool when it comes to the map.

I am very interested in seeing the final product of the game.

For the lobby you might want to make it not so bright because it was very bright when I joined.

Also this gui is very hard to see. Might want to lower the gui down so it can be seen on all devices.

UI seems a little simplistic, you could replace the “Money” Label with an image of an actual coin or whatever your currencies symbol would be, or use a viewport frame of a coin object and have it rotate (if possible). Could also add another frame so you can view the object of the item you’ve selected, or add the image label to the actual UI of each item.

As the previous person said, you overdid it a bit on the lobbies brightness.

With Bob the Guide, you could stop it from showing the interaction button when already interacting as well as make the “Press any Key to coninue” be spelt correctly and more visible (continue over coninue).

Health UI placement might want to be moved, personally I don’t really like having to look to the top centre of my screen to find it, though thats just me. Half of it is also unshown to the player if they have my screen resolution (Laptop)

In the player list UI, “Peoples” - might want to replace this with “Players” or “People”.

For the tunnel thing that goes up in the lobby, since its a union, be aware that having it on CanCollide whilst its a cylinder may produce invisible stepping areas, a possible solution to this would be to make the actual union CanCollide false and then invisible boundaries

UI inconstistency between the interactions. Also half hidden UI at the bottom here. If you attempt to talk to him twice without leaving the interaction area, it causes the UI to tween out immediately after being tweened in.

Your dungeon crawler game, looks really good like all the different details, you added to your game. However there is a couple of things i’ll recommend! fixing on your game to look more better. Overall the game looks really great!

Your gui the one at the top assuming, it’s your “Health Bar” it’s a little to high at the top and it seems to be cutting some of it. Out of the screen i would recommend you fix that! and bring it on screen so people. Can see it and know what it is! As well the one at the bottom of the screen some of it is cut out. You could bring it up a little so it could look more better!!

As you can see some of your gui is cut. Out of the screen, and you could place the '100 Bar" on top of the player i believe that is where it’s suppose, to be not at the top of the screen as it looks a little hard to see what it is.

As you can see your pyramid looks really good however you have a sign named. Coming Soon but people can still go inside it, and think that it works. You could add a visible part to the door part so other users can’t, go inside it so it looks like that is in progress still. I would recommend you add that! And when buying inaccessible from the shops some of them are broken, as you can see when you buy them the item. Is faced the wrong way and it’s a little, big you could fix them so they could work a little more!!

When you go to the pigeon land the health bar gui ,some of it is cut out of the screen you could move it over so you can see the whole bar. And the inaccessible the sword is broken as you can see when you press it the sword gets! stuck in the ground part meaning, you can’t kill the pigeons only if you place it on them they will die. I would suggest fixing that so people, can kill the little pigeons and the sword as well. And the health bar on the pigeons, stays stuck at “0” that is not suppose to happen, i would check to see whats going on there…

I would also fix the, thumbnail because the image you added cuts out when. You teleport back to the main area. And the pigeon land as well the gui, when you click the player that is in the pigeon land some of the text is cut of the screen. As you can see below i would place them on the screen so it could work on all devices! but if you leave it like that it would be a little, hard to press the UI to talk. To the characters you added you could fix those a bit more!!

Overall, you have done a great job on your game so far. As provided above you could add away to view how many pigeons! you have to kill to get to the other side. Keep it up hope to see the final product of the map very soon!!

This game is really cool! I like it a lot. But, there are a few things you should add/change.

For one, the GUIs are not scaled correctly and are not positioned correctly on my screen. Also, I did notice a lot of errors that said Potions is not a valid member of ScreenGui. The name above my head clipped through my hat so maybe make it a bit higher. Also, again with the GUI scaling, the teleport GUI did not fit on my screen correctly. Also, it was very confusing on how to play. Another thing is you should add music in it. Or at least some sound effects. Other than that I think it’s pretty good! Also, the sword was not positioned correctly in my hand and it made it hard to walk when holding it. I would make it I would make sure those thing are fixed before you advertise it, because if someone plays it, only to find out that the buttons are hard to click and see and are all out of place, they probably wont play long. I can tell you put a lot of work into it so good job! :smiley:

Definitely tone the neon wayy down haha. It’s pretty blinding
