Hello! So I attempted making my first logo today and after messing around I managed to create this:

Any feedback and what I should add would be appreciated. Thanks!

yes i’m going to do that but im only focuisng on the text at the moment

That’s really your first one? That looks amazing!

Did you use a program? If so, which program?

Or did you draw it?

i used photopea (random words for character min)

This looks great! It’s unbelievable to think that this is your first 3D logo! You’re great at it, keep it up! I would personally hire you in the event I needed stuff for my game. Like stated before, you should do commissions! Not only will it benefit you, but you will be able to benefit those who would like to commission someone to make a logo of sorts.

I definitely agree with the advice the others have provided, such as adding some sort of background, it doesn’t have to be complex, just something fitting.

my man, what is that white thing behind “worlds”?? is it meant to be a shadow or something?? maybe my screen is just glitching idk

use a less washed out colour for the outline next time!! the one you’ve chosen is too greyish and doesn’t really fit with the shadows of the 3d letters. try not to change the saturation value when you’re picking a colour!! instead, choose a more vibrant colour + set its brightness value to a lower number to get a nice dark shade. idk how photopea works but in most art programs u can do that

also, there’s a weird bump on the side of the “s” where you overlayed the words. this would’ve been fine if you had this effect on the “p” in “pet” too but you did not. it makes the writing look a bit inconsistent lol

(comparison image cuz i suck at explaining things)

the “t” looks a little misplaced too so the outline doesn’t really match up with the outline on the “e”, making a lump there. some of the letters are not evenly spaced either, which is common with most low quality fonts. try to keep things perfect; use the selection tool to move your letters around. you’re allowed to edit text too yk!!

visual of what im on ab

this logo is really nice though!! very good for a newbie!! contrasting colours look amazing with this, well done on thinking about that.

the thing behind worlds was just a bug i fixed it tho

also if i make the outline a more saturated color it wouldnt make it stand out as much.
