Feedback on my first building!

So i tried making a building for the first time (i’m not a builder).
and i think personally it turned out decent, (except for the back, but in real life those are empty aswell).
But i’m not a professional, so what do you think?

Thanks in advance!

hello there !

that is definitely great considering it’s your first build, however, i have some tips for you to improve and get out of beginner level:

  1. start using PBR textures. in case you don’t know what that is, they’re just really realistic textures.
on how to use them, check out a tutorial for that.
here are the links to textures:
    https://ambientcg.com/
    https://3dtextures.me/

  2. add more detail. if you struggle to be creative with that, use reference images from google, pinterest or even AI.

  3. add something in the background. it can be some terrain, a city, etc. and play around with the lighting too until you get something that fits. adjust the sun, change the skybox, etc.

i hope these tips help you ! good luck with your journey !!

Amazing first building but one thing that concerns me:
You use a lot of detail on the little mechanism on the top of the building, but not on other small things like the ladders or even windows, you could even add details to the ventilation up there too, but if you don’t want to spend that much effort, I would keep the details not so precise in some areas, and keep the same level of detail all around.

This looks really nice as a first building mode!
I would make the windows not stick out too much and maybe detail more the roof. Also it could look cool if you would add few graffiti decals on the back side of the building since it is kinda plain.

Looks like you spent much more work on the antenna than the building itself

Nice job! I think you should just make a some of the parts such as the ladder and stairs on the side of the building more thin. I guess work on making the building more proportional. Overall good job!
