Feedback on my first ever game, "Survive the RISING SLIME!"

After a few weeks of working on my first ever game, it’s finally done and published to roblox! I am currently unsure of the best way to advertise it, so I was wondering what you guys thought of it! Thanks in advance for any feedback.

not sure if its on purpose, but the player is pushed away from the house on the house level

yeah I made it that way so it’s a little more challenging, just holding jump will get you to the end.

Do you think that should be removed?

I think it should probably get removed, maybe just make the house a bit further away. also, the ice level seems to be impossible to beat. maybe im just bad

Ok thanks for the feedback. and the Arctic level is possible if you stand on the polar bears, or if you go to the iceberg that one of the ships crashed into. theres a little obstacle course on the far iceberg that lets u reach the peak

I like the general green coloured theme of the game, really adds to the whole slime idea.

  1. I’d change the menu music, because the immediate change from the more calm menu music to the intense in-game music has an odd clash.
  2. I also think the slime should rise a bit slower, it may be hard for some mobile players to traverse quickly.
  3. Finally, please teleport us back to the lobby when the round is over!

Ui is overlapping here lol

you probably should get better pet models, as the ones ur using is a bit generic (ones like the bee pet would be better)

Make the slime slow players down, but deal less damage, as otherwise its literally just a recolor of that lava rising game

the “Gears” UI has way rounder egdes, make them more consistent

also, the UI does seem a bit generic, try to have it look less like those simulator games.

Move the slime points up a bit, I dunno why, it just seems a bit too low on the screen

after playing for a while, the slime’s rise became really janky (instead of slowly rising, it would teleport up, I have no idea why. it seems like you had different increments for each level, try changing the wait time instead of rise amount for faster/slower slime rise.

Next round wait time a bit too long, considering each round is only like 30 seconds as well

Now for the levels:
nice models, did ya make em urself?

For the catastrophe level (the one where the cat threw stuff at you), the stuff kill u on touch, I feel like it would be better if they just flung you. (btw its WAY too hard)

the tree house map was way too basic, try to use more then 20 parts in there lol

Humble town’s yellow road markings go up WAYY too much, make them thinner.

Creepy circus looked fine, but the clown’s eyes looks funky

The polar bears float on artic expedition, why?

Pyramid party: add some textures, also, a tiny bit more details wouldn’t hurt

2007 crossroads have Z fighting : P, pls fix

Lastly, the lobby:
A little play area would be nice (like an obby, or a sword fight place)

Add some other prizes to the spinner then just slime points

decor is fine

some sort of tool like a banana peel could be nice to add into the item shop (for trol)
