Hey there, I’ve made my first actual game called “Disaster Havoc” inspired by Natural Disaster Survival! I started working on it a couple of days ago and wanted to get some feedback on the current game.
Please note that the game is nowhere near done, I just wanted to get some suggestions and feedback! I am planning of adding more maps and disasters to the game since as of right now the game only has 1 map and 4 disaster types!
Any bug report, suggestion or feedback would be appreciated! Thank you.
What would be an appropriate time before the disaster happens?
Coins aren’t used for anything at the moment. Coins will be used in a future update, but I will remove them for now to avoid confusion.
I am planning to make the map bigger and make the maps more detailed.
Hey, just played your game and I have a few thoughts and suggestions.
I’m aware that the game is extremely new and its still in development but before you begin making multiple maps, I suggest that you improve the current one. The building feels very basic, especially for the standards today, and I feel that it could use more detail. Same with the island itself. The island could benefit from trees, rocks, and props.
The watch tower in which you spawn at is also really basic. I think you would work on adding more support beams, decorations (plants, seating, signs, etc.), and other minor details.
For the UI, I think it could use some effects or colors to add some personality to your game.
Overall, the current state of the game is basic, but has potential. Best of luck!!
The watch tower is just a placeholder I made in a few minutes, so I will improve it in the future. As for the building, how could I made it look less basic? Should I add furniture and make the exterior more realistic?
I will improve the Island and the UI in the upcoming updates! Thank you so much for your feedback!
Use and flat part and rotate it to an incline instead of a wedge. It looks like an actual staircase this way. If you want to get even more detailed, you can add individual parts making a step-stair
