Feedback on my first image with GIMP

Hello, I don’t know what to call this but its a custom image I made with GIMP for a group. The image in the middle I downloaded from the Google but the rest I made with the help from some tutorials and a friend who pointed out a few things to fix. I was hoping if I could get some feedback on it.

It looks great but maybe add some more designs to it?

Thanks, do you mind if you could list a few more designs?

Pretty good, but the text is kinda hard to read, at least for me. Good luck man!

@213x202 I don’t know If you like it but I messed with it a bit and made this:Game Icon Design Idea (With Watermark) I thought it needed a design like this.

It’s okay, it’s your first logo and you’ve still got a long way to go. For the SCP logo that you incorporated in the image I can clearly see the jagged edges, from what I can assume you had to delete parts of the original image to get a transparent background. Rather than doing that you can just search the image you want into google with the PNG format in the search bard (or search for what image you want followed by transparent background and it should come up). The red on the “Contain Secure Protect” seems a bit tacky, I think you can play around with the colours more but at the moment the logo looks a bit bland. It is your first though and there are many tutorials you can use to get better, I’d suggest maybe looking at getting Paint.net rather than GIMP as it provides more capabilities with its features, or if you’re really confident go ahead and get Photoshop.
