Hi everyone! I recently made a simple katana in blender and I wanted to know what you guys think!

I didn’t spend too long on this because I kept running out of ideas or running into problems. If anyone has any suggestions or feedback please tell me!
That’s a machete not a katana.
Hey it looks great but as said that is a machete, use some reference photos to help it is so useful. 
Oops mb, the katana reference photos I used showed that the end was curved but I guess I curved it too much?
That’s a straight sword.
I’d use a better reference photo.
This katana looks VERY GOOD! Great job on it! It’s especially excellent for your first one you’ve made! I’d say make the blade a bit less wide in size so it looks more slim like a katana, and make it a bit longer with its height. Other than that, it’s good! How long did it take to make? Will you use it in anything?
Well @EvilTony99 and @SirBunnydemolisher said my first version was too curved and looked like a machete so I made it straighter:

I mean its still like a straight sword lol 
You can curve the actual blade and also make it thinner. It should then take form of a katana rather than a machete
On blender you can make the sword straight from the start, and then either using loop cuts or knife cuts, you can split it horizontally many times.
Afterwards you can use a simple deform to curve your entire sword to make it more katana shaped.

This looks more like a scimitar
Yes this is so much better. It’s thinner and actually curved like a katana. Some additional things you can add to the katana is the blade collar and the little metal bit at the end of the handle.
Both are good! Just the latter is a better katana
