It’s Amazing For Your First Render

The lighting could be improved; the edges of the character are very rigid, and seem to look unrealistic when matched with this lighting.

Thanks! Which settings could I modify for next time?
Could I enable bloom, or just lower contrast a bit?

What application did you make this render in?

Blender version 2.80, downloaded it a few hours ago.

Looks good for a 1st render! I’d recommend to switch to the latest blender version though.

Try to add a lightroom, which can help enhance the ambience of your render. HDRIs • Poly Haven

For a first render, this is actually pretty impressive. I wouldn’t call myself a professional but here are some of the tricks I use when I render.

  1. Try using rigs to make the character smoother, the only problem is that it will affect the way your it looks. For example, if you have a very tall avatar, the rig will make its height to the original Roblox avatar height.
Here’s an example of a rig:

  2. Other than that, I’d say you can remove the blender background (making it transparent) by going to Film and enabling this box.

  3. I will agree with what TotallyBusiness said. Try switching to the latest version of Blender, as it can come with a lot more features and can even speed up your rendering process.

  4. Lastly, try switching to the Rendering Engine called Cycles

If you’ve tried that and it seems to have “noise” (basically a lot of pixels), you can enable the default Blender denoiser.

It might take a bit more time, but trust me, it’s worth it.
