Hello! I just build my very first sword mesh. I built it in Blender and I would like some feedback on it!!

Can’t ask for prices since it’s against rules now, but your sword is very nice! Any plans to texture it? I also feel like it’s a bit too long.

Really surprising for your first sword mesh. 
You’ve definitely done a great job working on this sword, but there is a thing i would like to point out. The handle doesn’t really fit the sword in my opinion and is a bit out of context if you know what i mean…
I would definitely recommend you following some references while trying to make meshes for the first time.
As you can see, you can add many changements to the blade and the handle that can improve the overall looking of the sword, and take it to the next level. Details are not necessary but always appreciated.
Other than that, i wish you some luck on your journey as a mesh creator, keep up the great work.

Aesthetics
This is an amazing first attempt for making a sword, but as @dreamsfree said, try to use a reference image and try to model from there. One way you would do it it by pressing (NUM) 5 and then (NUM) 1, after you’ve done that, you could add the image with Background Image.

I’m not a blender guru like many other people are, but I’ll try to give some suggestions.
What kind of design are you going for? Personally, it reminds me of a lightsaber due to the design of the handle and blade. If you aren’t going for something like that, maybe try a wider handguard? If you used a reference, could you possibly post it in the thread? Anyway, amazing job on it. I’ll leave the rest to the actual mesh creators! Make sure to keep building

I think it looks nice for first-timers! Although it is not as detailed as some of the good ones, you managed to use some techniques in blender. I also recommend you to do texture painting or making it a bit more either high poly or low poly, and add more details and actual shapes to it. Either way, I see you putting effort on it!
