Hello! It’s very nice of you to make a game dedicated to someone’s birthday! The terrain looks nice, but adding more details would make it even better!

You could add lily pads or other sorts of aquatic plants floating on the water, it would look way better. Adding railings to the bridge’s sides would be nice too!

The outside looks pretty great, with houses and all, but a few bushes, flowers, etc. would make it more fabulous. Other than that, it looks pretty great already. Hope this reply helps! :slightly_smiling_face:

I like it, but the colorful crystal lights on the terrain kind of makes it… otherworldly? If you’re going for that, great job, but if not, change the crystal lights to a similar color.

I’m going to be 100% honest, and please do not take this the wrong way, I am only going to tell you this in order to help you improve your games, and so in the future you can became a really great game developer.

So firstly, I wouldn’t recommend using terrain if you plan on making flat surfaces, this is mainly because terrain is pretty difficult to manipulate around, and take a really long time to load.

The beauty of terrain is to use it on order to make something look extremely realistic.

So in order to achieve a beautiful realistic look, you shouldn’t make the terrain flat. Add bumps every now and then, make it more rough, add some variations in height, and stuff, these little details are what makes terrain superior to using parts. So overall experiment and try to find the ideal combinations of randomness to make your game look as realistic as possible.

Oh, and also another suggestion.

In this image you showed, since you are using terrain, make it look much rougher, as though its an actual realistic tunnel leading from one are to another, if you want you can even bend it up a bit for more realism.

Anyhow, I hope with my advice you will be able to make amazing terrain in the future!

Best of luck, and please keep us updated with any and all future updates!

I agree with @LordReno

It looked kind of unrealistic since it was so flat and at first I thought you used parts with decals. Please don’t take this the wrong way. If you’re going for a tunnel terrain, then yeah, you should make the tunnel have more bumps and such like a cave, because I do believe it’s a cave where the first area is, no?

I agree with you. Thank you guys for helping making my terrain better as possible and making it that it does fit with px’s happy birthday. Even you forgot to say Happy Birthday PX, lol.

I have decided to use terrain for that because using parts or something may take me more time than 2-3 hours. Plus if i use an part. it may not look like better unlike my terrain since I cant make it more better with the parts. Terrain can make it realistic and beautiful with parts or something like light or crystal or future lighting or other idea. I agree with you also.

Don’t worry about that. Its not my final terrain. I can make better terrain than it soon. I’m learning how to make that better terrain or something as of right now. Since I’m already builder and does not have skills on terrain until yesterday. yes I’m new to the terrain skills and making aswell. so I was thinking that crystal with light would make it better but yeah you have an point also. Yes i may make the crystal lights to similar color too. on next terrain. even though i think there may not be crystal on next terrain. im doing next terrain for px happy birthday because the today is px happy birthday. Thank you for that too.

Edit: I was thinking about celling light with kinda rainbow light on next terrain for px happy birthday.

I like it! A tip i have it’s to try to make the terrain less blocky, because itl it does not look like that. The curved shapes and imperfections will give the game a more realistic aura. Keep it up!
