Hi! I’ve always wanted to get more into making UIs since I have the skills to do so and I’m able to draw. However, I never had the time to fully get into it. I created this small UI for my Homestore a few days ago and would like to know everybody’s opinions on it!
Any type of criticism/feedback would be appreciated!
It looks cartoony and it looks like it can appeal to other players to join your game genre whatever you call but the overall design is pretty good, especially for the colors you chose to make the UI so, I like it.
That looks awesome for your first UI! I really like the cartoony style with those flowers as the background on the UI. Maybe the close button can be sized to be a bit smaller. Overall, that UI looks amazing.
Very nice choice of colours and shapes, especially for a beginner!
If you’re interested, you should start getting into UI commissions, I feel like people would really like purchasing your assets!
The only thing I’d say from a technical standpoint is that I’d probably separate the layers and put each layer under a separate ImageLabel. This way it is much easier to add hover effects such as on the close button and you can edit an individual layer without having to recreate the entire image if you choose to do so in the future.
Mm, looks pretty neat! I love the color contrast except for that X button, as the background of it is pretty light, and so is the X itself. Besides that, this looks amazing, especially for your first! Keep up the good work and I can’t wait to see some more of your work!
