Feedback on my FPS

Hello everyone!
As evident in the title, I have created a game. The game is mostly finished, and I could use some feedback. Rounds! is a FPS game where you battle round for round solo against other player. You play in a sort of big box, and once you die, you’re out for the round. Throughout the game, you can earn XP and money to buy better weapons in the shop. Since I haven’t developed my own weapon system yet, I’m using ACS 1.7.5 (after disabling several features, it works great!). Do you think I could get some active players with this?

If anyone wants to, he can have a look at the game here: Rounds! - Roblox

Im also accepting every type of things that I can do better!

I like the idea of a FFA-FPS CQB game, but there are a few things that could be changed.

  • The lobby is a bit bare. I think adding some decor that relates to the game would definitely help. The shooting range area is a nice addition, however there is plenty of room for improvement within the lobby.

  • The UI (“waiting for players to join” and the level UI) seems a bit too large and maybe a bit too cartoony for this style of game. That part is all up to opinion, but that is something that I thought of. Disabling the ACS character silhouette would be an option especially since crouching, crawling and leaning is disabled in the game.

  • The map seems a bit small for a maximum of 50 players, tying in with the fact that the game is a FFA. Making the map larger to fit more players would be optimal as well as maybe decorating a bit? If the theme is to be a simple, minimalistic “placeholder” map then it would make sense.

  • Last thing, and a bit of a small one would be changing the maximum zoom distance. When in the waiting area above the actual map, zooming out allows you to see over the walls and look at the baseplate and lobby.

Overall, this game has potential to have a player base. Of course, you can improve and fine tune to your liking, but the concept is good, gunplay is good, and I have found no bugs whilst playing. Keep it up!
