So, I have this game idea, called Sandwich Dash, where you serve sandwiches to NPC’s and earn money to unlock more ingredients and upgrades! you serve them things like PB&J’s, BLTS and grilled cheese sandwiches and whatnot. and for the drinks I have no idea I just have bloxy cola in mind. and for the upgrades, you can upgrade things like the NPC’s patience, more income, more customers, all that stuff. and I am trying to make this game as simple as possible to not overwhelm myself but maybe in future updates, I could add roles like Cashier, Janitor, and Manager and not just chef. The cashier takes NPC’s orders, the janitor cleans the mess, and the manager watches over the employees and gets the most money. Anyways, there will be a “Dash Mode” where the chefs have to make sandwiches quickly within the time limit! and if they do so, they get 2x extra money. How will I make robux off of this? gamepasses that give you more money, special ingredients, and if I decide to make more roles, a “Become Manager” gamepass. and yeah that’s about it! So, if you have any ideas or suggestions, please say them!
I’m seeing some potential in this idea, you might get a decent amount of concurrent players (say 1-2k players) at the very least with good advertising, and all I can say is, Make it Good.
Thank you for the feedback! I’ll be sure to do my best on the game!
Dont spread false information. 1k-2k…? Dont make others think they’re game is going to get popular just by a small amount of advertisement and small amount of work that is put into the game. Lets be honest, if he doesn’t invest atleast 10k-70k he wont get returning players and no more than 20 active players…
- I didn’t say the game will blow up no matter what efforts you do, I thought the game had good potential of being popular if it was well-made/advertised.
- Only 20 players?! how is 10k+ robux only gonna get you 20 concurrent players, the game/advertising then must be really, really bad.
- It’s true I said 1-2k, but the amount of these players doesn’t come entirely from the ads themselves, the game might have a snowball effect where players are going to tell their friends about the game and give it a try, and they might comeback if the game was really engaging to them. Another factor is when the game might get like 200 concurrent players, people will still give it a try just because it has 200 cc players, and so the number of players will start rising without the need to advertise, and that is if the game is good/engaging.
I see you don’t have experience with advertising games… 10k robux gets you barely 30 concurrent players (appx). After a while you lose players by alot…
I like that people already arguing how many CCU the game will get and how much on ads it will have to spend without any signs of the game being actually made. If anything, it sets up the developer for a massive disappointment when the reality hits.
Ideas aren’t worth much without an execution.
Where did you get that information from? I’m curious to know.
Thank you @SnoutUpDev, guys stop guessing how much cc players the game is going to get or how much robux i should spend on advertising it to get enough players. like i just barely started working on the game. in reality we dont know if it will fail or succeed. and as I said in the post, I want you guys to give me ideas or suggestions, not to cause a whole argument about how much cc players my game will get when its not even released.
