Over the past month or so I’ve been making a game but I’m a little stuck on what I should do for the next 25 stages. Currently I have 75 and the objective of the game is to jump over these giant walls (kind of). I’d love to some of your ideas an thoughts on the next section.
By the way, I would like for the levels to all be the same but every level is a bit harder than the last.
I’ll show an example here to summarize.
For this photo, the wall hops get increasingly higher each stage.
Similar to the previous one, the jumps get higher for every stage.
It’s not bad in my opinion, but I personally like to my projects unique. I don’t see that in this. It looks like everyone elses obby game. Why would someone choose to play your game over someone else’s? That’s the question I ask myself.
Well it’s not just every Difficulty Chart Obby or every High Jump Obby. Each section is different and unique instead of the sections being “Easy”, “Medium”, or “Hard”.
That’s good. But why not make a theme for the game? Make it look like your parkouring in a cave or something else. I personally like obbies that have a nice theme and visually pleasing.
It’s pretty generic I must say. If you want it to stand out a bit more, I suggest looking at everything that others are doing and try making something different from that.
The only problem with this is that’s not the point of the game. It’s not meant to be like a cave or a city. I’m not really sure how it doesn’t have a theme also.
Sorry if I didn’t make this clear but I made this post for me to receive feedback on what I should make next in the game. Nonetheless, your feedback on the game as a whole is appreciated.
