Feedback on my game (Unit Clash)?

I’ve run some ads for players to engage the game. All in all I’ve found some small bugs that I’ve fixed. Currently there is only 1 world to fight (I am in the process of making the next world). So it can get boring after a while. But I wanted to know if there is anything else I could do to increase engagement on the game.

You simply have soldiers and fight the enemy in their world. Return with loot to unbox crates to unlock new units or either upgrade your current ones.

Game: Unit Clash 🏹 - Roblox

Any feedback would be great! It took me a month to work on. Given there were some days I wasn’t working on it. I really enjoy this game and want it to succeed.

Any tips, suggestions, constructive criticism would be great!

Thank you!

improvements

  • damage indicators and projectiles (only the visuals) should be handled on the client because they always jitter
  • melee troops should have slower walkspeed so you can strategically delay their entry into the fight
  • percentages in the lootboxes dont add up to 100%
  • fighting area should be slightly wider
  • button to start instantly instead of waiting 15s for a game
  • button to return to lobby before losing the game

ideas

  • could get rewards to get stronger as you go through the run, makes attempts more unique and the game would be more replayable
  • alternate paths
  • troops earn xp on their own when used, maybe contributing to a separate level
  • introduce some skill with a ui to reposition troops

edit: i got cowboy (2% from $500) but hes worse than hawk (20%)

edit: i saw 3 errors pop up before teleporting

edit: you can press ready while holding a troop, makes the green placement indicator stay after the battle is over

found a bug while pressing lobby

edit: you can restart the game after your teammate has already restarted, so an exploiter can probably reset the game any time

edit: troop preview models have hitboxes so they push you around and you can also fly on them

Thank you for the detailed response! Means a lot! I’m looking into those issues you’ve encountered. I recently fixed the onClick error so that should no longer be an issue. Had a fail check to see if the item was nil or not.

I love those ideas you gave! Especially with the xp and unique rewards for each wave/attempt.
