Feedback on my game

idk whether i should put this topic here or in #help-and-feedback:game-design-support
but i need some feedback for this game i have here so i could make sure my game will improve later on down the road Baconville - Roblox

keep in mind that it does have free models in it so expect lag issues

If your free models are causing lag, you should look through them for any malicious scripts which can insert viruses into your game. You have to be especially careful with them to keep your game safe and running smoothly!

but what if the free models in my game still lag even if i already checked each script and none of them are malicious

If it’s not the models, then it could be a plugin that you used. I am playing it on the lowest graphics quality and I am not lagging, so you could just turn down graphics and you’ll be fine.

As for feedback, I think that you could change up you GUIs to make them look smoother. Also, you should definitely change your thumbnail, maybe you could hire someone to make one for you. Overall, I like your game! It’s pretty funny and I love how the bacons are all wearing bacon masks. Good work!

Your game is the laggiest game I’ve ever played on Roblox. I think you need to optimize your scripts a lot. Also, there’s no clear objective in the game making the player just run around.

what should i do to make the player enjoy the game so they won’t just randomly walk around

Have a tutorial or a guide to tell them what they’re supposed to do

I agree with this, but the game seems more like a role-playing game instead of a game with a defined objective.

exactly
im trying to make my game be liek a role playing game
but the problem is i dont know how to make it as successful as other city games

This game is laggy, not as laggy as Frappe V5, but it was still very laggy. Check the free models for any scripts and delete them, that should reduce it by a lot!

On the topic of free models; a lot of free models have viruses in it, please do not use them, unless you’ve checked for any malicious scripts in them. Also, I know free models are there for a reason, but I would recommend that you make your own models.

The UI… It needs a little fixing. The clock at the top of the screen goes way to fast first of all, it also is way too big, try to size it down quite a bit.
The “menu” button is out of place and off the corner of the screen. That’s not necessary… Good for a game? Try to put it to the side or at the bottom of the top of your screen.

A few other things I wanna point out; there are little objects and stuff that look like they shouldn’t be there. Just find as many as you can that don’t suite the game, and delete them.

Also, there is a bunch of stuff just hovering the ground. Try to bring that down to ground level.

I am not saying It’s bad, don’t worry. I’m saying it needs some simple fixing. Hope it helps

ive checked the models and they dont have any viruses or malicious scripts but ill try to replace some with my own models if i know how to make something liek it
there are a few models that were made by me but ill replace them with my own so the game won’t lag a lot

sadly the game is laggy because it has too much free models liek a whole lot

i dont really know how to make the clock speed slower liek all the other city games
but about the menu button, should i put it on the bottom left of the screen or just leave it on the left side of the screen

what were the stuff that you thought werent supposed to be in the game

was it those chests that were moving around liek a chest being on the sky or something
but overall ill try and do some of those types of stuff to help benefit my game
