I am currently working on a survival horror game called “Midnight Madness” Its theme is similar to residence massacre. here’s how to play when the night starts:
(Dont forget to take the flashlight and lantern)
Be carefull as there is a monster lurking in the darkness around the map.
Use a flashlight to slow down the monster, flashlight batteries deplete quickly. Use it when needed.
The monster can’t chase you when you’re in the camp.
Locate wood around the map to keep the campfire alive.
If you see an eye staring at you at the edge of the camp, turn on the radio.
Find batteries on a table around the map to power the radio.
Look for canned foods on a table around the map to heal yourself.
You get colder in the darkness, so stay near the campfire to warm up.
Survive until 6 am.
also dont talk about the games name and icon being different lmao

Okay a few things I noticed by playing for 2-3 minutes is that the dialogue is slow and the fact that the dialogue kind of consistently scales. Yea thats annoying. Use MaxVisibleGraphemes property for textlabel please! And there are also quite many typos in the dialogues.
Also this is nitpicky but the fact that the main protagonists name is “jack”. Yea lets account for the other gender that being females. Use gender neutral names like Alex or Sam.
Don’t know why jumping is disabled but you can still just barely jump which is very odd, minor bug to fix there. Also the small jump acts oddly with seats which is probably a roblox issue but it can be fixed by yourself if you fully disable jumping properly
Shift lock and sprint have the same keybind so I had to disable shift lock to sprint (change keybind of shiftlock)
Massively long dialogue before any actual gameplay makes replayability very unappealing
Having an “invisible inventory” is confusing for the player, I recommend just making the burger an item in the regular inventory. This includes after cooking it as I had no idea that the burger would magically be placed on the table
Having to manually grab the batteries, flashlight and cola feels pointless as you are given infinite time to do so and have no other objectives at the same time. In Residence Massacre this feature works because it encourages the player to search the map but here there is no point, as we are not actually playing within the house.
It was slightly irritating having big hitboxes you couldn’t walk over for the tents before they are even set up
Again with collecting sticks for the fire, it feels pointless as we are not encouraged to search the campsite because there are enough that spawn nearby
After making the 2 tents the game broke entirely and I had to leave
Overall it seems like the game is fundamentally build pretty well, seems like there’s potential but I couldn’t say given I didn’t get to the actual core gameplay
The i is not capital, the sentences wont start with a capital letter. Improper use of periods and commas. Its better to use chatgpt to fix these small grammmar and typos. I dont know all of them but just some common things.
