It’s a really cool concept, and I like the building style as well as the dialogue at the beginning.
There’s a couple of things to note, however:
I think the blur on the green vision should be lowered? It’s distracting but not by much but did hurt my eyes a tiny bit at first.
And I also think the environment could use more to it, like more rocks, maybe different types of trees, some logs/tree stumps and maybe even bushes?
I also think it should be made more obvious on what key you need to press to enter the vision mode, I get that the NPC at the beginning tells you, but it’d be nice for people who completely miss the NPC. Maybe a prompt when you first join that disappears for good (until you rejoin the game) that displays the key you need to press?
Overall, really cool game and I love the concept, but the things I mentioned could potentially make the game look and feel even better. Keep up the good work!
Game’s cool but this is a crucial mistake, don’t rely on the npc for telling players how to play the game, i didn’t know that i had to press R to switch modes i was about to quit.
When a player first joins when he reaches his first obby challenge, put a text in the center telling the player to press R to switch mode make it rotate left and right with tween service and when he actually presses R and completes his first challenge put like a green mark and a success sound and remove the text. A simple polished tutorial and you are good, game’s gonna do fine.
The concept is cool but I’d recommend to add music and fix the volume.
Also like put some GUI tutorial because it took me a minute to figure out the main mechanic.
btw there is music it’s just pretty soft.
I Just made the music louder because It was louder in studio for some reason.
Pretty simple game idea. I’m interested to see where you go with this.
It’s pretty hard to tell what will switch. Some guidance is needed, maybe with a white transparent version of the “invisible” object(s) before you hit R to go the alternate world or whatever.
Gameplay seems a bit too hard for the average player, especially on mobile. There are also some points where the player might get confused on where to go. Make sure to add more gameplay on the long walking sections as well.
Thanks for the Feedback!
I’m not an animator and I can’t afford one so I’m not really concerned about it that much.
This game is supposed to mimic games like "Altitorture and “Steep Steps” It’s sorta supposed to be pretty hard. I’ll make sure to add more things near the long walking areas though!
I’m trying my best to fix all the things everyone tells me to btw.
I’m still working on the game though (not everything is going to be perfect)
