Feedback on my games environment

I feel like my environment doesn’t feel natural or is missing something. Can anybody give me some tips or advice?

Looks pretty good and a lot of work.

I think it’s the lack of natural borders that’s causing it to look odd.

I’m adding little islands around the main one to obscure the player’s view and it’s looking a lot better. Thanks for your help!

it’s very good, it brings to mind classic roblox styles

some of the hills are not detailed and just straight fall of, there is no sand or beach so it looks awkward just having dirt in an ocean

Try out adding a small bit of fog and try deglowing that ocean a tiny bit. Make the ocean infinite as well with a specialmesh maybe. Also, I REALLY love it!

Love the classic look, excellently made.
Doesn’t look like an island though, land just ends abruptly, making the water look out of place.

very sick, WAY oversaturated, also bare area here:

Also, I want to see more inlet and weld used, studs and universal on everything was not how classic roblox went. (i’m not a veteran but I heard this from one)

It would look much better with some textures I think.

The game looks really well made, love the design!

I really, really love this style. I think what you’ve got there looks really beautiful, though I do have a few nitpicks that could aid with making it feel more natural.

  • The cliff edges are extremely flat. Some colour, grittiness and shape should help with that; even if it’s miniscule.

  • The cut-off from the land to the water is very sharp. I’d recommend some extra shape to the island edges with some sand to add some extra colour to the palette.

This is all I could think of really, it’s really nice to see vibrant, classic maps still being made by talented individuals, great job!

Some lighting changes could be made, maybe some color correction to make it more classic looking.
