Hello developers! I would like some feedback and advice and (constructive) criticism on this thumbnail for my friends group, Islandside Cafe. It is fall themed!

There’s lots of room for improvement here, see below;

  • The render is nice, but lighting could be experimented with for a better outcome
  • The background is random and I don’t really understand how it fits despite the fall colour scheme. Perhaps look into getting a screenshot of a scene in-game and use that instead, with a slight gausian blur?
  • The font doesn’t match, and the black is very harsh compared to the rest of the design. Try experimenting with more professional and slick looking fonts (ie. lemon milk, generally external fonts are the better option).

Hope you can continue to improve based upon these comments.

the render iself is pretty decent, lighting could be improved slightly but other than that it’s fine, however the background looks completely random and just looks like you searched up orange background on google because the shirt is orange, and the text is quite lackluster and plain with just 2 colors and no effects, overall a 5/10

Hiya, to start of I think the render itself is very good for a begginer. But I think the thing you need to work on is the text and background. Maybe for the background you could take a scree shot of the map. I feel like the text font is too ‘cartoony’. But overall, I think this is an amazing GFX and definetly something you should do more of.

Hey, when it comes to tips, I’d pretty much just say maybe change up the text and the color of the text. Otherwise I think it looks exemplary as stated earlier, the background is cool and fits well in, the character render w/the lightning is good.

The GFX in question is great in general. but the font choice is not as great. use others if possible.
