hi i have been working on a gui for a game how do you guys think its looks
Colors
I would say that most of the colors you chose were good colors, but there is one part that I don’t really think looks that good which is the loading part. In there you are using bright colors such as bright green and bright red, but I recommend going for a lighter or a darker color or maybe even a pastel color as they will look slightly better than the ones you have now.
Animation
Overall, I think that the animation is wonderful but you could change the animation on the start button moving away, personally I don’t really like the fact that it goes slightly down then up then lower then higher and etc.
Text
In the loading bar, firstly the text starts off behind the bar so it looks a bit off, and secondly I recommend using a different font for the text and making it a bit more bold.
Conclusion
In the end, you have done a wonderful job on the start button GUI and the loading screen, you could improve by trying to change some of the things I have listed above and hopefully you will like the outcome.
ok thank you for the input i will work on that right now i will repost a new video when im done with the gui for the shop
One thing I notice is your loading bar isn’t actually loading anything. Its ok if this is a demo for sure, but if you were actually going to be keeping this in your game it would deter players from playing further as everytime they join it takes this long to start enjoying the game.
im making it so i can load in the data store
Great that will be much better, just avoid loading for long periods of time.
do you think it wiuld be better if i shortened the time?
If its not needed just fully remove it.
Not bad for starters, I suppose. But there’s one obvious thing bothering me. It’s that border pixel of your frame gui, if you could set the main BorderSizePixel to 0, it would eliminate the uncool-looking looking black line separating your topbar and the rest of the screen.
hi thanks for the input i have fixed that
The top bar is super slow, it feels like it takes a lifetime just for you to read the entire thing. Either you can make it appears immediately, or a whole lot quicker.
Also, the shrinking animation is very weird, you can replace it with a fading animation or again make it quicker.
This is all my feedback.
I think this is tied to the loading process also, I believe as hes making the unnecessary long loading bar fill he needed to adjust the bar text to be really slow.
To fix both issues increase or remove the loading, and speed up the text bar to match.
The animation is amazing on these! I do recommend a bit of a darker or like AmusingDev mentioned, pastel colors. I think the red and green is just a bit too crazy, but that’s my opinion. Once again the animation is incredible, but maybe change the loading bar colors.

It’s a nice GUI overall and even tho I’m not really a UI expert I’d suggest some changes, some have been mentioned before some might not.
Your color choice in the loading bar are a too bright, you can keep red and green but consider making them both darker, the borderpixel on the loading bar is slightly too thick consider making it thinner and if you make the colors darker maybe make it white instead of black.
The text in the loading bar starts off outside the box which I personally am not a big fan of, maybe center it and have it static or start it off a little more to the right and have it stop at the center, consider adding a border to the text so it’s easier to read.
The text at the top has a dreadful long loading time (around 10 seconds) and personally if I were to play a game with that long time for some text I’d be spamming my space button to skip it (That doesn’t nessecarily translate to the loading bar, as long as people can see progress is being done on that it’s fine)
The play button at the beginning has a nice animation though it actually obscures the loading bar for just a few milliseconds, if you’re a big fan of tiny details consider making the button jump out to left instead of downwards but if you’re not its really not anything big to worry about.
Overall nice gui but theres space for improvement if you feel like working on it and if not then remember it’s your project that means your visions for it should be how you make it.
