Feedback on my Head Clicker game!

Hello all!

This is my first post and I’ve been wanting to post this for a while, but i made this game
where you click on a player head to level it up to new heads/tiers.
You also collect cash to upgrade you base (like a tycoon) and get more money out of each click!

I’m just here wondering if there is anything i can do to improve the experience or make it more interesting.

Also if anyone has any good ideas on how to get this game out there I’d love to hear your thoughts! :slight_smile:

  • It’s annoying that earnig new heads does pratically nothing, I can’t show them off, i can’t equip them, i can’t get benefits from them etc. Why not make it so all the heads you earnt are put on podiums from the start? The ability to equip them and for each better head to give you better benefits? Maybe the ability to merge them to create better heads with even better benefits and maybe a unique benefit?
  • The build style is absolutely horrendous and the map no where near ready. Nothing matches, you have PBR foliage mixed with a range of different other materials on a very small and very boring map. There is no boundaries, the shop is ugly especially with that door-wall texture clash and why is the shop on an entirely different island and only accessible by the gui? I don’t want to stand in one place and operate from guis i want the ability to walk around the map and enjoy it. Furthermore, the build style is far from what the average player base who would play your game would be aka a young audience who would find a low poly style much more attractive and more stylistic to the game instead of ugly PBR mapping which is ugly and makes 0 sense.

  • The game feels like every other clicker game with the only really uniqueness being the tycoon aspect which even then is not that unique. Why not add the ability to fight other players using heads you unlocked? Why not make it instead of unlocking heads in a pre-existing path make it so you get a random head based on rarity every several hundred clicks? The ability to customise your heads with unlockable? Maybe the ability to merge duplicates of heads you get into big heads or golden heads similar to the mechanics of Pet Simulator X?
  • The clicking scene for the mr robot head gave me an aneurysm as the head filled nearly the entire screen. Also the clicking animation is really boring and i feel you could make it more eventful and interesting i.e. the face being more dynamic maybe parts of the head i.e. a hat jumps up as the head gets excited then quickly concentrates to move it back into position and so on just lots of small randomly chosen and fun animations to make it more interesting and fun to watch, think to the Sphere Vegas Face in that aspect and how you could expand from not only a face but a full head.
  • I think adding more heads with the random unlock system would be helpful and make the game more competitive.
  • A tutorial as i except a large percentage of young players would be confused on what to do as you are pretty much just thrown into the game with no information hell it even took me 2-3 minutes to realise how to get to the shop thinking that i had to walk over their somehow.

A tutorial sounds like a good idea, and i see what you mean by the map being boring.

a random unlock system seems interesting too…
