Wow, that’s pretty cool! I haven’t seen anything like that on Roblox! Well done! Keep up the great work!
Thank you that means a lot to me!
“The GIANT ENEMY SPIDER!” boss music (hope you get the reference)
That aside, this would make for a very good sort of boss. I like it’s walking. Its graphical design can be improved, however.
Yes, i do get the reference, i think of it alot when looking at this!
in short the game i’m making is a boss fighting game, where every player fights a boss that is a randomly selected player, the bosses vary from this spider to tanks jets and so on…
i also agree that it looks very plain, but i unfortunately dont see a efficient way to improve its design so i will have to stick with this (since i don’t work well with blender)
At a first glance, that looks very interesting and I can’t imagine the time it took to script all that! Well done
Quite contrary to what someone would expect this took only about 20+ hours of work, thank you by the way!
That is just straight up ! Does this use the same Reverse Kinematics principles similar to Nimblz’s “Eg!”?
Unfortunately no, i wish it would but i’m still too unexperienced to use that, i instead used alignpositions/rotations and a bunch of other physics in neat ways to make it work.
also thanks!
Wow! It is quite astonishing that you created all that from scratch. Keep up the work man, you are doing amazing.
Thank you its the first time i actually make something this complex so i really appreciate that!
I love the way it moves… Nothing I would change with the animation.
The only negative criticism I have is about its proportions, which are similar to a real spider. A huge mechanical spider has to be a lot bulkier than a tiny living spider ( because of the square-cube law).
Consider how much its body weighs and how much torque is on its knee joints, then try to make us believe that its leg segments can contain big enough motors and hydraulics to keep it standing and not break.
Very impressive. Never saw anything like this on Roblox and I’m guessing the player’s character is inside the “body”. Good job!
Thats true, its physically impossible to use this in real life, but i honestly didnt want to think of that because otherwise it would be much more boring to use, also i made it not bulky because i’d think it looks much easier and better to use, in short, i just basilically enjoy making stuff look cool than it makes sense x)
i hate this… amazing work (charrrrrrr)
