Feedback on my map

I got inspiration from @ireakol to make this map!
Time took: 25 mins.

The low poly trees don’t really blend in with the realistic terrain. Same goes with the rocks. Additionally, I think you should have a wider variety of trees, cause a forest with a buncha pine trees isn’t really ideal.

Hope this helps!

The terrain isn’t meant to be realistic, that is why it’s in a brighter color then the default one. And yeah next time I’ll use more of a variety! Thanks for the feedback :+1:

The terrain looks mixed realistic and low-poly, to be honest. Maybe make the terrain more low-polyish, for example, by changing some terrain colour.

The lighting looks a bit too much blurry, so try to make it less blurry. Everything else looks great and I love the details you’ve put on the road, such as the fallen tree.

Really nice. The only thing I would do is change the rocks and the trees by adding more texture to them. You see rocks have to have texture, and so do the trees. Maybe also add a minimap on the top right? That would be cool, but it really depends on the game you’re making.
Here’s an example of realistic roblox trees:

Oh I’m sorry, I didn’t see where you wrote about them not being realistic. I also forgot to mention that it depends on the size of the game and the processing power.

Change the color of the tree branches to a darker color to make it more realistic and put a slate material on the rocks (this is a must-do in rocks, since it gives a much better feel of beeing an actual rock). And as said above, variation is the key for realism.

I don’t think everything needs a texture. It also depends on what style you’re going for. I would recommend at least putting a material for the rocks (slate) and maybe (if you insist) the green brenches (grass)

I like this a lot! For only 25 minutes this is pretty dang good. Only thing is, the trees are too vibrant. Maybe try is Grime, Earth Green, or Slime Green for the leaves. For the trunk, I can’t really tell but it looks like a Burnt Sienna, maybe try a Pine Cone or Brown color

Exactly: It depends on the what style you are going for.

I stated it’s meant to be low-poly, not realism.

My only complaint

What is your complaint?

The tree goes through the rock.

Not sure what you mean by “the tree goes through the rock”, could you please explain?

The tree collides with the rock

Yes, that gives it more detail, instead of just putting a fallen tree.

There is a contrast in style between the terrain, and the assets such as the trees and rocks. I’d definitely recommend going for a theme, and changing everything to fit it.

If you’re going for a low poly kinda vibe, then I recommend using a low poly terrain plugin.

I’ve tried that, I like it but I feel it wouldn’t match the assets I used as much as you think.
