Hey everyone. So I’m making this Military Gate for a Military Group, and I was wondering if there is maybe some way to keep it more realistic(ish). If you have any thoughts please tell me, I will take all feedback into mind.
-
I think the trees look a bit odd compared to the scenery around it.
-
The terrain in the background looks kind of lumpy.
-
The lighting is too dark and too light in some places, for example in the middle where there is random brightness.
-
The concrete blockers look too white and uniform (they are arranged in too much of a straight line)
Overall, this is nice except for the things I mentioned above.
Good luck with the game your making.
Thank you very much, I will be taking that in mind!
- Experiment with the lighting
- Work on the terrain
- Try work on recreating them trees
Apart from that, I wouldn’t say anything else. It does look great currently but it just needs them general improvements.
I hope to see the final outcome and good luck in the future development!
That’s pretty hot, although it would look nicer if there was a road leading into it.
Agree with everyone else on fixing lighting, also maybe add some bushes, twigs, and grass to give it more of a forestry look. Keep up the great work!
Yeah, listen to all these people. You’re definitely improving.
Looks amazing! Although I would add a red line* associated with military group games.
*Red line explanation: The Red line is a line that when an unathourized player passes through, gets shot.
Here’s a image (not me) with a white arrow I added showing what the red line looks like:
Hope this helps!
umm… where the gate?
I can see here just fence, tree, land and also the concrete.
plus why the tree looks similar to the animated tree?
and also why there was a random light in front of the entrance and why the infront of the entrance dont have any light street?
tell me why
answer my question
Yeah I know. I was gonna add that but I had to go sleep. Anyways, thanks so much!
Looking pretty good this lighting shadows sky and trees are look amazing for the first time looking at this picture i think about zombie survival
Hey! This is very lovely and I believe that this is a great gate fir the Military Group.
-
I agree with all people that the lighting should be improved as well as the trees.
-
You could add high towers on which the military members could stand ad watch people who pass the line illegally.
-
I believe adding lamps throughtout the fence would be insane because the soldiers need the clear sight access to see if anyone is passing the fence.
This is very nice and realistic!
Here are some hints!
-
Move/rotate the barracks a bit
-
Add a more details in the terrain like adding rocks and bushes
-
Maybe make a street instead a path of mud
-
Spread the brightness over the map, not light at one point. Like add light pillars.
-
You should add a gate system, in real life the military bases arent open for everyone right?
-
Add some watch towers with lights on them moving, like at a prison.
-
The fences look too safe, add more security on it, like electricity (add an electricity danger sign on them)
-
Add some danger signs, like a red line infront of the gate
-
Try to recreate the trees or make a desert of the area, desert is more typical for military bases!
I have taken the advice of the others and of myself and made a list of it so you can see all the hints at once! I hope i help you with this
Have a good day!
Thanks so much! I will be thinking about it! Appreciate it.
At the moment it looks very plain so here we go. First of all as you know most military gates have a stop sign and other signs, as well as something similar to this:
Hi,
I do like the scenery although the trees don’t look that realistic or with the leaves, maybe find a nicer more aesthetically pleasing mesh. Otherwise that is all i have to say.
Great Job
Keep Building!
In all honesty, this gate looks pretty decent. The lighting could definitely be worked on though, as there’s just a huge patch of light in the middle of the gate and the sides are just dark. Other than that the tree texture can be fixed, it looks kinda stretched, but the leaves look pretty realistic. This looks pretty decent though.
