Oh, so it’s one of those donation games. Don’t they require a ridiculous amount of money to advertise on Roblox?
Besides, Pls Donate is still the most original and popular way of being donated Robux, with other donation games managing ~1k CCUs. How are you able to ensure that this will be able to gain traction against other donation games?
The donation thing is just a bonus the fun part about this game is having to tell jokes in front of your friends or other people in stage or hear other people’s jokes
But why specifically your game, will Players join? To my knowledge, there are a few “tell a joke” games, but they all turn out to be very short-lived or slightly dead, with the top result having ~55 CCUs.
Oh, another donator game.
It’ll probably flop, not gonna lie.
The market for donation games was already saturated enough when PLS DONATE first released.
Plus, why would people play this and put effort into getting donations when they could just AFK overnight on PLS DONATE?
Plus, every “tell a joke” game that I’ve seen doesn’t perform all too well after released, at best pulling a few thousand players in for the first week and then they all vanish.
Edit: The fact you’ve mixed the “Tell A Joke” and “Donater Game” genres is cool an original, but again, there’s simply too many donation games on roblox for this to do well.
I don’t know about that yet but I specifically targetted engagement and retention rate for this game to have at least a high chance to succeed, the marketing campaign will start on aug 7 so wish me luck
You should try to consider your plans first before you market this to Players. The “donation” part of the game can already be imitated in “PLS DONATE”, where Players can just go around asking people to tell jokes in-exchange for Robux.
If you’re hoping that the ability to Donate people is able to reel in Players, you might want to take a step back and observe other games and incorporate some ideas, because there are also plenty of other games, all with different game objectives but have the ability for players to donate.
Thank you for your opinion but the donation part is to target other demographics who love to earn robux while playing plus there is a gap in pls donate game where people afk for hours and receive just a 5 cent worth of robux because of the fact that they are afk and not providing any value to other people
I’ve seen new ones such as buy me where they sell cards of themselves become a hit and i’m pretty sure that having to target the emotional spot of a person is more valuable than a card
I think the lack of effort on the Player’s side is what reels people into PLS DONATE.
If you’re still planning to stick with the donation idea into your game, then the aspects of your game must have enough content to engage users and make them sit down and watch others tell jokes. One major thing will be the lobby and mechanics. Will this be a typical “tell a joke” game? Is there anything else to interact with besides telling a joke? Why should I play, besides getting donated/being entertained by others?
In-game items, achievements, badges, events, quests and so on are some good ways to engage Players.
In the game there are reactions to perform by the audience while the current comedian is performing a joke
it ranges from cringe to super funny, they can react every 10 seconds out of 60 seconds of the timer of the comedian
all of the players have the chance to go up in stage
the best reactions from their joke will win the comedian of the day award which gives them 100 coins
they can use coins to buy in game titles or grind badges, and buy emotes which will play when they win the round and they are introduced as the winner
When you spam the choose theme gui, I think this is what caused it…
Oh it’s because it started a new round initiated function when a player joined
It’s fixed now when i shutdown earlier
