Hey everyone,
I spent thousands of robux to advertise my new game, Power Boxer Simulator. However, it doesn’t seem like the game’s gaining any players. I was wondering if the game has potential or I should just stop working on the game.
The Problem: You know, I’ve been playing the game, and I must admit, it’s becoming quite dull and repetitive after a while. Plus, there’s an overwhelming pay-to-win aspect that’s starting to take the fun out of it.
Possible solutions:
To breathe some new life into the game, I’d recommend adding exciting elements like challenging quests and engaging activities. Quests can keep players hooked, giving them a sense of accomplishment as they progress. Additionally, introducing fun challenges will add variety and make the gameplay more enjoyable.
Another critical issue is the save zone. It needs some fixing to ensure a fair gaming experience for all players. Nobody likes dying due to players in the save zone!
gameplay: mainly just punching i guess and also killing the boss to get pets.
Too much UI, the moment I enter the game my eyes hurt, also reduce the punch effect and maintain and fix all errors within the game, and maybe add like menu where you got most things like codes, effects, sound and the rest of which the play doesn’t need on the first interaction with the game, also try to change the colors of the map they seem to be super bright and blinding, and use less UI tweening kind of keep it simple, overall great quality and could end up as a good game, you just need the patience and more advertising, don’t focus only on Roblox for that , try to expand to discord Tweeter reddit anything that can help!
Pretty boring. Feels like those clicker simulators just reskinned. It lacks a loading gui to hide the slowness of loading the map aswell as other assets.
The left, right, top and middle parts of both sides just feel so used up and it is pointless. I dont understand why you cant put the power value into a top bar like youve done with the invite friends button uisng the TopBar module.
The game is too big and needs to be a little smaller as it will just be a walking simulator like some games with so much open and empty space aswell as being too tall which puts me off the map too.
Graphic wise it hurts my eyes with how bright it can be so I suggest you turn it down and the floor for the first part is a little too light. I can guaranty that if you play during early hours of the morning you would want to turn your monitor light down alot. THERES NOTHING WRONG WITH A LITTLE BIT OF DARK COLOURING. Even if the colour is just starting to get to that dark bit, it can help alot when looking around the game.
If you havent already use collection service for preloading assets for a loading menu aswell as using streaming to help with rendering and all that jazz.
The bars dont all need text like the twitter codes and power. It is very obviouse/Common knowledge as what they are and can help save screen space and help you put them into a table esc gui which helps save screen space even more. (the guis with the small image icon boxes grouped up in a 3x3 or X-x-X in width and length)
Hope this helps. I try to be as honest as I can which may sometimes come out as a little harsh or over the time to some but I like to think of it as constructive criticism!
Much better, one more thing is that I realized you have a lot of empty spaces, maybe decorate them with rocks or peddles and dont always keep them flat and shiny!
Don’t really understand why it isn’t doing well, it looks the same as the other popular simulator games. Maybe the problem is just that there isn’t enough content? Add some NPCs around the map to punch or something.
Yep I read through all of the suggestions, thanks a lot!
I will try to improve on the lighting, though sometimes it’s kind of weird and makes the game look too bright when in Roblox Studio it’s a lot darker.
Anyways, thanks for the suggestions, I’ll make sure to apply them to the game
